TALISMAN

Bioman (Inspiration of Talisman)

TALISMAN (Talino, Lakas, at Bilis, Pinagkaisa)

Ang pinagkakaingatang lihim ng Republika ng Pilipinas...

KABISIERA (Kabisera - Capital)

May Tatlong Talisman...

Puting Talisman

I immediately contacted the landline number (02) 510-72-64 and I spoke with certain Reagan Pascual. I verified the job offer and I was told since I am from the province, I will get free accommodation and my transportation expense is being refunded.

I send the three thousand pesos through LBC and texted the tracking number to Mr. Pascual.

I flew to manila 2 days before the said training then it was friday when I received a text message that the training was moved to saturday and sunday of the following week due to insufficient applicants.

I decided to visit them in their office at the following address:

21st Century Nurse
Human Resources Department
21/F Pacific Star Bldg.
Sen Gil Puyat cor Makati Ave.
Makati City, Philippines

To my dismay, the company on that address is Century Properties, a real estate company.

I was able to talk to someone from their HR department and I was told I was the 10th person who went their to for 21st Century Nurse.

I learned my lesson the hard way but I will not silenced. Today, I received the same text message, now from:

Genius Health Consultancy
Human Resources Department
10/F Sky Plaza Bldg.
6788 Ayala Avenue
Makati City

What bothered me the most is that they sent the scam offer to my new email address and the only way they have access to my mobile number is they got a copy of my resume.

I checked the sent folder of my email and I remember sending an application to Genesis Medical Center with email address, genesismedicalcenter@live.com. I got the email address from Jobstreet.

The email address of the scammer is
hospitalityresume@live.com.

The second email was from healthcareresume@live.com.

I hope this expose of my experience would help a lot of Filipino nurses out there.

Mula Noon, Ngayon at Kailan pa man Hindi Ka Nag-Iisa...

“HINDI KA NAG IISA”
Composed by: Ogie Alcasid
Sung by: Regine Velasquez

Sasamahan ka namin
Kahit paligid ay madilim
Iilawan ang daan tungo sa magandang kinabukasan.
Ika’y mamuno,kami ay susunod
pagkakaisa’y ating itaguyod
ang Pilipinas ay naghihintay
handa kaming kumilos,handang umalalay.

Hindi ka nag-iisa
sa paggising ng bayan
kami ay kasama,hindi ka mag-iisa.
Isasapuso ang dangal ng ating bayan
Sa tulong at biyaya ng maykapal

Magkakapit bisig,tayo…
ituloy natin laban ni Ninoy at Cory,
Nang bawa’t mamamayan
pagmamahal natin sa bayan
‘wag na nating itago, ‘di tayo susuko

Hindi ka nag-iisa
Sa paggising ng bayan
kami ay kasama,hindi ka mag-iisa
isasa puso ang dangal ng ating bayan

Sa tulong at biyaya ng maykapal
Magkakapit bisig,tayo…
Sama-sama bawat Filipino
Mula noon, ngayon at kailan pa man
hindi ka nag iisa...

Proud

"Proud"

by Heather Small

I look into the window of my mind
Reflections of the fears I know I've left behind
I step out of the ordinary
I can feel my soul ascending
I am on my way
Can't stop me now
And you can do the same

What have you done today to make you feel proud?
It's never too late to try
What have you done today to make you feel proud?
You could be so many people
If you make that break for freedom
What have you done today to make you feel proud?

Still so many answers I don't know
Realise that to question is how we grow
So I step out of the ordinary
I can feel my soul ascending
I am on my way
Can't stop me now
And you can do the same

What have you done today to make you feel proud?
It's never too late to try
What have you done today to make you feel proud?
You could be so many people
If you make that break for freedom
What have you done today to make you feel proud?

We need a change
Do it today
I can feel my spirit rising
We need a change
So do it today
'Cause I can see a clear horizon

What have you done today to make you feel proud?
So what have you done today to make you feel proud?
'Cause you could be so many people
If you make that break for freedom
So what have you done today to make you feel proud?
What have you done today to make you feel proud?
What have you done today
You could be so many people?
Just make that break for freedom
So what have you done today to make you feel proud?

Fallen Angel

"Pain"

It started with love that ended in loathe and in vain...

It was like sudden death, like I was hit by a train...

I cannot break free, like I am on chain or restrain...

Now, I am in physical and emotional drain...

I am not praying to GOD to take away the pain...

but to give me strength that I can make it through the rain...

Philippine Rice Policy (PRP)

This policy is my suggestion that may offer practical solution.

This policy states that every Filipino should have self-regulation on consuming rice as a staple food to minimize if not completely eradicate wastage in this time wherein we are experiencing shortage in supply of the prime commodity in the country.

This policy encourages those who cannot consume a cup of rice to order only half cup.

This policy also encourages those on a weight management program to find other substitute for rice if they cannot avoid not consuming rice at all.

This policy encourages as well those who cook rice to properly store cooked rice and left-over rice to prevent spoilage and furthermore, wastage.

This policy encourage more those who can recycle cooked rice into "sinangag" or "ampaw" to continue to utilize every grain of rice.

Proud Waray

Below is the information about the Fil-Am with waray blood who is one of the new housemates in Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Double Up:

BARTOLOME ALBERTO MOTT

Nickname: Tom
Status: In House
Real Name: Bartolome Alberto Mott
Origin: Arizona, USA
Age: 22
Birthdate: October 1, 1987
Nationality: Filipino-American
Occupation: Graphic Artist

CIVIL STATUS: Single
RELIGION: Catholic
HOBBIES : driving, boxing, martial arts

FAVORITES
COLOR : blue, brown
FOOD : tinolang manok, or whatever my mom cooks
TV SHOW : Burn Notice
ACTOR : John Lloyd Cruz
ACTRESS : Maja Salvador
SINGER : John Mayer

He may have the face and the body of a model, but to people in his hometown, he is often called by many names like ‘Hilaw na Kano’ or ‘Bangaw Bangaw’ which is a term of a filthy kid. Tom would frequently get into fight with these people.

Life became more challenging when he migrated to the US to be with his family. He struggled with speaking in English and had a difficulty communicating with people around him. Tom finished college with a degree in Digital Animation, but still he couldn’t get a job in this field. He flew to Hongkong to pursue his passion, but instead he found romance which was unfortunately short lived.

What would you consider your greatest accomplishment so far?
Becoming a housemate.

What/who will you miss the most upon entering Kuya’s house?
My four-year-old nephew and one-year-old niece.

If you can be a celebrity for a day, who would you be and why?
Brad Pitt because he’s awesome.

Do you think you’ll get along well with the other housemates? Why?
I guess. ‘Di naman ako palaaway eh.

What would irritate/annoy you inside the house?
But probably ‘yung mga taong walang respeto at may masamang intention.

Q&A with Tom

1. Ipinanganak sa Olongapo to a Pinay mom and an American navy dad.

Miscommunication 101 with Miss Vilma Santos

I have seen “In My Life” not just one but two times already!

Perfect!

It is a movie that is a taboo to the indie gay soft porn which is rampant nowadays.

It is the story of Shirley Templo, who is in her latter years of her life and has been used to the routines of ADLs (activities of daily living).

By pride, she forced herself to “move on” in New York where she crashed in with her metro-homosexual son and his “driver sweet lover" in their love nest.

The movie showed how Shirley tried to live her life all over again and how she was able to resolve misunderstanding and miscommunication with her estranged husband, Benito and their children.

I would like to quote Ricky Lee when he said that when you watched the movie, you will laugh so hard that you won’t even notice that you are already crying…

I can relate to this movie a lot in the point of view of the four characters in the movie.

First is Shirley, I can relate to her because my mother is in Florida right now. Her petition from her sister went through just this year after waiting for more than 25 years. My mother is trying her best to adjust to her life now that she is living the so-called “American Dream”! She is trying to familiarize herself using the computer and a lot more. I miss her a lot!

Second is Mark, I can relate to him because I somewhat felt that I was a disappointment to my parents, that no matter what I do it won’t be good enough for them. But despite the parental control, I know and my parents assured me that they love and care for me, that they only want the best for me.

Third is Andrea or Dang, I can relate to her because I am the eldest and I have always been somewhat dependent of my parents that sometimes I felt that I deprived and sometimes I felt I can’t function independently.

Last but not the least is Noel, I can relate to him because I am an emotional type of guy but not to the extent that I will become an “Emo”. I am having a hard time to say NO when someone is in need and I always felt isolated when I’m the one that is in need.

I would like to commend JLC! He is really blessed with those eyes! Even without words coming out of his lips, I felt the emotion in his eyes!

The part of the movie that I really LOL was the scene of Shirley and Hillary, formerly known as Hilario (played by Vice Ganda).

Here is the dialogue:

Shirley: Bakit meron bang mali sa akin?!

Hillary: Meron bang mali sayo? …Madami!

…buhok mo pang-librarian!

…salamin mo pang-guidance!

…damit mo pang-principal!

…height mo pang-estudyante!

(hehehe!)

It is the best rip-off dialogue of the year!

If I would rate this movie from a scale of 1-10, I will give it an 11 or a standing ovation! Perfect!

Congratulations to Olivia M. Lamasan and Star Cinema as well as to the cast and crew!
